After the fabulous “Dreams”, the play by my estimated colleague, the Very Important Playwright David R. Stearns, comes “Broken Wings” the second play of VIP. “Broken Wings” is a play about dancers, mainly, but it is also a play about many other things. I would say that the story is a support to touch on themes such as ambition, master-student relationships, the ephemeral quality of the dancer’s career and some 21st century vulgarization of Ancient Greece philosophy. Just to give you a taste, here are some pictures of our rehearsals. More to come in a near future, this is just an amuse-bouche or an amuse-oeil if you will giving how beautiful my cast is.
